Srinivas Thirupathi/Srinivas Tripathi, the owner of private colleges in the small town of Sozhavaram/Siripuram in the late 1990s and early 2000s, adopted some government colleges and sent some of his faculty there, knowing that the latter’s faculty members couldn’t teach students and wanting to close down all public institutions of intermediate college education and force students into his private institutions. Balamurugan/Bala Gangadhar Tilak, a qualified teacher, gets in the way of Thirupathi’s plans by making the students at Sozhavaram/Siripuram government college get a first-class distinction. As a result of this information, Thirupathi/Tripathi challenges Balamurugan/Bala Gangadhar Tilak to acknowledge the student’s accomplishments during the school meeting. Thirupathi/Tripathi challenges Balamurugan/Bala Gangadhar Tilak to help the students achieve high TNPCEE/EAMCET rankings. Balu accepts the challenge and gets to work getting the students ready.
