Storyline

A decade ago, Josh and Dalton Lambert were hypnotized to forget their otherworldly journey to the Further. In the present day, Josh is divorced from Renai Lambert and has lost touch with his son. At Lorraine Lambert’s funeral, Renai urges Josh to drive Dalton to university in an attempt to reconnect with him during the trip.

However, upon arriving at the dormitory, they argue and Josh leaves. Dalton, an arts student, is encouraged by Professor Armagan to delve deeper into his innermost fears, leading him to discover a mysterious red door. Soon after, Dalton is haunted by malevolent demons from the Further.

Joseph Bishara, who composed the scores for the first four films in the franchise, returned to compose the music for “Insidious: The Red Door”. The film’s score soundtrack was released on July 7 by Madison Gate Records. The soundtrack includes a cover of the Shakespears Sister song “Stay” by Ghost, featuring Patrick Wilson’s vocals. This haunting track is played during the closing credits of the movie.
